| Problem with sitemap setup via cpanel cron
Ive been trying to troubleshoot this issue and i still get >Warning</strong>: gzopen(/home/domain/public_html/forums/vbseo_sitemap/data/sitemap_1.xml.gz): failed to open stream: theres more to it... a whole lot I get a email taht says the sitemap was successfully created than another 5 minutes i get this email that says there is error above.. any ideas ?       |

Plase make sure that "/home/domain/public_html/forums/vbseo_sitemap/data/" folder has write permissions (0666). Does sitemap generation works correctly from vbseo_sitemap/ interface (not cron)?

Check the dates/times on the sitemap files and see if they are updated.

You can check the generation details using vbseo_sitemap/ interface (including the number of URLs generated).
