old sitemap?

HI , i just installed vbseo and vbseo sitemap. i'm sorry i'm new to this but my question is: I had a sitemap.xml before the install, that i made using some randon sitemap generator. should i remove that file now since i installed vbseo and vbseo sitemap? sorry that's maybe a lame question to ask but i'm not sure how to.

they should not be conflicting and you can just submit new sitemap additionally to your existing one.
