Not indexed yet after 8 days

I think it's a bit strange. I linked to the forum from the homepage which is a PR5, the site is a quality site that gets more then 800 uniques a day.

We posted a few posts ourselves on the forum but also added some feeds to it which make up the most of the posts now. Would that mean that there's too much duplicate content for the search engines to index the forum? Or have I been missing something?

The bots were visiting from day one the forum was installed.

I'd kill the feeds. Generally they don't do anything good.

Have you installed the sitemap generator, and created a google.com/webmasters account and linked it up?

Get more links going back to the site from various sources, 8 days really isn't that long especailly if you've only got one link going back

Yes, I have installed the google sitemap about 4 days ago now. It has been crawled I see.

Well I added a forum link in the nav bar menu, so basically it's linked from 300 plus pages.

I removed all the feeds and it's posts. Right after I did that about 20 bots came to spider the forum again. I thought what the heck haha Coincendense or not? lol

I see Google now is indexing some of the URLs 2 listings and a link to see more results and if you click that you see 32 listings. Most of the forums don't have posts yet, so maybe that's why.

So, i think adding too many rss feeds is not a good thing. It even effected the main sites traffic because that's down from last week. So, lets hope it gets back next weeks again.
