Not having a great day!

I had a PR4 and now a 2 so people are now questioning my SEO abilities which is BAD!

That says it all. Several people have told you not to worry about PR but you are hell bent on saying it is vBSEO's fault.

If vbSEO means that I have to comprimise PR then I am pulling it out and letting the time heal everything!

I guess that I shouldn't have gotten involved with something that I don't completely understand!

First off PR is a snapshot gathered by Google approx 3 months ago, so is not representative of todays value of your website.

Secondly if your traffic is increasing and your PR is decreasing, logic should tell you, that something good has happened to your site. Hence why you are getting more visitors. Don't be so hung up on PR its a little green bar at the top of your screen. If it bothers you so much uninstall Google Toolbar.

Secondly if you are more bothered about that people are judging you by a seemingly meaningless number then if I were you I would just disregard their advice.

I have had vbSEO in for about 3 months but you are a little off on the Snapshot. It is pulled 30-45 days before the update to gather the juice.

Regarding vBSEO not being set properly, as long as you have selected one of the "Presets" within the 'Select Your Forum URLs Global Format' and the'Select Your Blog URLs Global Format' settings,there is no risk in having vBSEO affect your rankings. These "presets" ensure your URL structure is consistent, and that is what really matters.

Thanks for that! I was afraid that the dis-continued URLs for the indexed pages were causing duplicates.

And.......I was a little upset at the PR dump, plus someone jumped in the thread and wanted to argue!

I apologize vbSEO! The entire Staff has been very good to me so far. I appreciate that!
