NEWBIE HERE with Issues On Vbseo Sitemap Do Hicky

First of all Hello Board Im Chad DieselMinded I Hail from Diesel Bombers - Powered by vBulletin 1000 members in 2 mths of heartbeat ,im sure i will soon be going full fledge with your software ,, for now I just installed vbseo sitemap generator from vb.org and this is whats happening

I followed the instructions , Everything seemed to work fine at first till i clicked the ...And its not there i got an error after futher expolation i found the file located at

    vbseo_sitemap/data/siremax_index.xml.gz

Cool Cool ...... Figured it was a bug .....

Then I went to submit it to google and they wouldnt take it off the deep path so i Copied it from the data folder and pasted it on the root and it went fine ...

Same with yahoo it used the same file SWEET ...

I now have both listed how ever it appears your software will attomactially update my site map and submit it ,,, if it updates it at the vbseo_sitemap/data/siremax_index.xml.gz location its not much use to me is it?????

Am i suppose to keep regenerating a site map and over writing the one on the root and resumbit them to google and yahoo ? How often to do this?

Like i said b4 i dont think i have something right on this Can you please help me

    TIA

    DM

I have a .htaccess File on the forum root that if open in a text editor says..

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^((urllist|sitemap).*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L]

Im not sure this was here before ? I tried to drag and drop the .htacess file in there using filezilla then i seen there was one there already i then just Closed the overwrite window no knowing if the one i had was the right one , when i check it by downloading and renaming .txt it was the same so its on there
