New forum not showing up in Google after 2 months.

What's the average time before a site shows up on Google, I don't even mean Top XXX, just show up period?

I've submitted it to Google the beginning of December and January. VBSeo shows the Googlebot downloading the sitemap daily. If Google downloads the sitemaps does the bot still crawl the site too?

Google sitemaps shows the sitemap downloaded every day, but there's not crawl stats.

    Thanks for any insight.

    The site is www.titanquest.net

Do you have any strong links pointing to it?

I made a site on Sunday Evening, and it was listed in google on Monday.

No strong links to it, shouldn't it still show up?

If you've got no links, then no, it won't show up. If you have a small number of weak (low pagerank) links, it may still not show up for a while.

    Good luck,

It's not that hard to get links, and you'll not get much benefit from vbseo if you don't have at least a few links.

Start with a submission at the Titan Quest category at DMOZ. Make the submission now and maybe it'll get added in the next few weeks if you're lucky. But don't worry over that link too much.

Then look for other sites that are about Titan Quest or have info about Titan Quest. Email the webmaster and ask for a link or suggest a link trade. After you've done that with every Titan Quest site, do the same with other rpg sites. Send 100 personalized email requests (not automated boiler-plate spammy emails!) and you'll get a good number of links.

    Then get more links

    Good luck, Ross

If you have any money to invest, a PR5 or higher text link could do wonders.
