My vbseo sitemap has every thread/post/... TWICE in it?

    Hi,

I installed vbseo sitemaps but I noticed in the reports that the number of threads, posts, member profiles, ... indexed is exactly double of the real number.

My best guess is that I should desable this option:

If you have vBSEO, include old urls?
While vBSEO will automatically 301-redirect old (dynamic) URLs to the newly formatted static URLs, some users may opt to include the old URLs in the sitemap to ensure Google finds the redirect headers for each page. Include this option until you note that most old URLs have been purged from Google.

    Correct?

Edit; than again, also new threads after vbseo install - which I assume don't have old style thread URLs - are indexed twice, so not sure this is causing it.

Yes, you should disable this option. We recommend using that setting only for the first few days you have vbseo installedm and afterwards to disable it.

Note, as this will cut your total url's make sure you delete your sitemap xml.gz files first and re-run as you will likely have less files afterwards.
