    My forum PR0 after update

I dont know what happened, but I have PR0 for the forum now.

I read on another forum that wrong re-directs may cause this kind of things, I do have a redirect of non-www to www of the domain name but that had always worked. I upgraded the forum with a new release of VBSEO a while back but I dont think I changed any settings so all URLs should be same.

The homepage is PR6 and the forum should be PR5 if not zeroed.

I see the sitemap has low PR, and may be the cause. I dont know.

I deleted the plugin for sitemap in August when I upgraded vbseo but never installed it, but see in scheduled tasks it is still there so maybe I have been providing Google Sitemaps with old sitemap files regulary since then?

Something is wrong with the forum anyway, searches for forum sections was always on first page, now they dont show up and toolbar PR is 0. I dont trust livepr website.

Livepr shows 4 on the datacenters not yet updated, it was the old PR. Now its 0. (If you look on my main page you will see the same datacenters report PR5 for my homepage and those with forum PR0 reports PR6 for homepage)

That would be the weirdest PR change I've ever seen.... So, did you check all the subforums? (like Phuket Forum - Diving, Golf, Attractions, Hotels, Restaurants, Shopping)

FYI - I currently get TBPR4 in your forum homepage and TBPR3 in most of your subforums.

You see the old PR, as all datacenters is not updated yet. On the updated datacenters it is just 0, with low PR on some pages, e.g. sitemap pages. If you see PR5 on Phuket hotels, Thailand hotels, Travel guide, News, Forums - Thailand then its an un-updated datacenter, if you see PR6 then the forum will be PR0.

I used to be on top 5 for e.g. "Phuket forums", "Thailand forums" and so on.

I have reinstalled vbseo sitemaps now but got error when I tried to generate new sitemaps. (a linksback table doesnt exist) So I deactivated the schedule for the time being.

I also deleted the submitted sitemaps files I had at my account at Google Sitemaps, and I saw in the stats there they have been downloading old sitemaps files just hours ago, and probably daily since mid August when I deleted the vbseo sitemap plugin. (Before upgrading to vbseo 3.0 RC3 and vBulletin 3.6.0)

    Looks promising,

For the first time the last few days when I investigated it looks like my SERPS is back, now I am still in top 5 for related searches to the forum.

visible PR may not be visible until next PR update but as long my SERPS is back I am happy.

Just one question, vBSEO can put numbered links to archive pages / forum sections at the end of the page, how useful is that? And does it work? At the moment it creates 33 links for guests and 39 for me.

I can imagine it may be useful to spread PR to older posts and make more of the forum in general higher ranked. I am not sure whats gives the best benefit, to give all forum posts higher ranking or just the latest threads. (I show e.g. links to the 10 pages of latest threads pages in a category via vbsettings)
