Multiple boards in same user directories?

Can multiple installations of vBulletin & vBSEO be run within the same user account & directory structure? I'm allowed up to 5 MySQL databases per account and would like to put lower traffic sites in the same account where I already have 10-12 domains mapped to various subdirectories.

I'm more concerned about the URL remapping, of which I'd rather not spend too much time understanding at this point.

Only one of these sites presently runs vBulletin & vBSEO, in a directory as follows:

//usershome/x/board1 (x was originally the home page for the board but I didn't like the two-level approach, so everything is now in .../board1)

The new installation would be in //usershome/board2

If different MySQL databases are used, would these two boards stay out of each others way, URL rewrites work, and all those good things?

the database isn't the issue. the easiest thing to do is to use a site prefix on installation.

default gives you vb_ i think. instead, use your site acronym.

    sitex_
    sitey_

therefore, you only really need 1 database.

in the path structure, it all comes down to pointing the domain to the correct folder. This will vary greatly depending on how your host is set up.
