Mediawiki plugin

Just thought I'd ask here first before looking up how to make a plugin, but has anyone made a vBSEO sitemap generator media wiki plugin to add mediawiki files to the sitemap?

If not, could someone kindly point me in the right direction for writing a sitemap plugin? I'll post it here if I get it working

I don't know if somebody has created the plugin, but the MediaWiki integration I use is VaultWiki
Over on their site, they have vBSEO installed (says so on the footer)... so I would guess they have a solution for adding the mediawiki files to the sitemap.

There are examples is the 'addons' folder of the sitemap. If you have basic php/mysql skills, you can copy a working example for one of those mods and use it in the addons.
