Go to
Its in there.Code:http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/vbseocp.php
obviously change the url to match yours.
Maybe my eye site is failing, but I don't see anything there about print threads
Look for
URL Rewrite Settings
and then click on the + to open the hidden secrets of vBSEO![]()
ok, you have to hit the little plus + and it expands.
Now why do I want to change this?
Personally? No idea, Briansol is one of the most successful forum owners on here, so I always listen to him, as he has the results to backup his actions.
if you're using a pre-set, make sure that you save first, and then the pre-set options have filled in the inputs next the settings under the advanced tab.
if they are blank, it's not going to work.
in the advanced section, you can find:
first set to noPrintthread URLs Rewrite Printthread URLs?
Set this option to "Yes" to have print version (printthread.php) of URLs rewritten.
Yes No Add rel="nofollow" to the Printthread links?
Enable this option to prevent search engines from following links to Printthread. It is thought that printable versions of threads (printthread.php) may be considered "duplicate content" by search engines and possibly penalized or excluded.
Yes No
second set to yes
if you've also installed the sitemap, i'd suggest keeping the printthread and showpost url's out of that as well
