Last modified - all the same

I just had a closer look at the sitemap that the generator generates for me, since I want to parse the content into a linked url list file to use as pointer for a local search engine crawler.

I hoped to reduce crawling load by using the last modified date and comparing this to the actual timestamp. But: For every single entry in my sitemap the last modified date reads the same date, the date, when the sitemap was last re-generated.

Is this as it is meant to be?

the last modified timestamp should be different, could you please post a few example entries from your sitemap for showthread URLs?

Of course - see attached file. The examples are randomly taken from somewhere in the middle of the file.

Does it happen for all threads or for some of them only? Try "Update counters"->Rebuild Thread Information in vB admincp.

all the threads do show the same date, and still do after rebuilding thread info. Of course i did rerun the sitemap generator. You can find the whole sitemap at http://www.roma-antiqua.de/forum/sitemap_1.xml.gz, if that's of any help.

You had your template changed on that date and vBSEO Sitemap Generator marks all older URLs as updated (since the page itself changes as a result of template update).
