    No, for example on your site: TalkUSB, Computer Gadget Discussion - in the footer I see numbers with links to your forums. Does it come with the sitemap mod or is it just manually done? Also, does it have any benefits?

    that is the vbseo "archive" option. You can turn those on the vbseocp.php page. it has nothing to do with the sitemap.

    IMO, you don't want them, as you don't want your vbarchive even indexed. you want your main showthread page indexed.
