    Unhappy Installed 7 months now...

And nothing... Kind of disappointed. My post number has gone up considerably and my google results have done nothing. I have tried googling very common phrases from the forum and nadda.

If anyone can shed some light on why I'm not getting results, that would be nice, cause I'm dying here.

Oh yeah, I'll jump right on that...

Does anyone else who has more than one post and not looking to make a buck have any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Spam Killed.

Is Google downloading your sitemaps daily, and crawling your site daily?

    Hi Keith,

Google updates the sitemap, but I don't believe it is daily. It is indexing the site, and I see one google spider online nearly all the time.

It has been his way since I installed vbseo, but my google results have dropped (analytics).

Check your sitemap download log and your spider activity log (both on the vBSEO Sitemap menu). Google should be getting your sitemap daily, and you can also see how many pages are being read per day on the second report.

I have the vBSEO sitemap generator version 1.6.1.

Do I need to update? I am not even sure how to access the reports.

If you have 1.6.1, then that means its not working since you're using the vBSEO 3.0.0 RC. vBSEO 3.0.0 requires vBSEO Sitemap 1.7 or higher. (2.0 is the latest)

You should update to vBSEO 3.0.0 GOLD and vBSEO Sitemap as soon as possible.

Alright, I found the sitemap download log and it has a list which has googlebot and yahoo and each one is listed, sometimes twice a day.

I looked at the SE Bots activity log and here is activity every day as well.

Well, I guess my content just sucks...

Just download them from the Downloads area here on vbseo.com, and follow the upgrade instructions included. Very easy to do.

That means you didn't upload in BINARY mode. You have to force your FTP client to use BINARY instead of ASCII.

Gotcha. Everything is upgraded to v1.7. Is that good enough? Thanks for the quick responses, Keith.

I am in the same position, I have been using VBSEO for quite some time, I roughly have about 300 link exchange links, I get all kinds of spiders, google does its thing, but yet I see not users riding in...
    I dunno..
