Including non-forum pages in sitemap?

I've read a lot of threads now about people concerned their non-forum pages not being included in their sitemap, but there hasn't been any clear official respons on this subject.

1) Is excluding the other pages a big problem, or will the boots index then anyway? Is this something I should be worried about?

2) Is there any way I can include my non-forum pages in vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap?

3) Is adding a second sitemap in the root a good option? If so, can I submit both maps, or will that pose any problems?

It seems that to add the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap, I'll have to add http://basciroleplaying.com/forum/ as a separate site to my Google Webmaster account. I have Basic Roleplaying .com added allready.

Adding the root and the forum solder as separate "sites" on my G webmaster account, will that pose me any kind of problems? Can I add two separate site maps for these "sites"? Is there any difficulty this can cause me? What about Google Analytics, will it suddenly see the root and the non-forum pages and the forum as separate sites?
