Hi folks,

I have a forum with 20,000+ pages indexed in Google. I think I'm going to install vBSEO on this forum and I obviously want to regain those pages as quickly as possible.

Should I include old urls in the sitemap aswell as the new urls?

So if I've got this right, the old urls in Google will, over time, be replaced with the new urls? And after the urls change on the forum, the Google spiders will see that there's, all of a sudden, loads of new content and index them really quickly? Have I got that right?

I'd suggest including them for about 2 weeks, and then disabling it.

I agree with Brian. If you use them, use them short term only and then disable them.
