    .htaccess question

    Hi all,

I am just configuring my Battlefield 3 forums site now, ive installed vbseo and am happy with the settings ive chosen (i would appreciate if someone could just briefly check ive not stuffed anything up)..

Back to my question.. as i installed vbseo (i had to upload the vbseo .htaccess file) now i am about to import the vbseo sitemap 2.6b product.. but i noticed a .htaccess file in the folder... should i upload the vbseo sitemap 2.6 .htaccess file or leave the existing vbseo .htaccess file in place.

    Appreciate any help guys.

    Regards, Darren

I am far from an expert and vBSEO infact installed it only today but nk you would open the .htaccess that came with vBSEO sitemap 2.6 and add whatever is different to your already established vBSEO .htaccess.

Since you are already have vBSEO .htaccess then you will not need to upload sitemap generator .htaccess because vBSEO htaccess already have the rewrite rules of sitemap generator, Just upload the htaccess comes with your 3.5.1 package

The sitemap's htaccess rules are already included in the vbseo core package's htaccess.
