Angry htaccess ? OK , godaddy ? no thanks

    Hello folks,

Maybe some of you already know the godaddy customized administration panel. Well, for those who don't know, it suxxass.
My primary domain name is purchased from godaddy, mean while i added to the hosting account some other domains i own.
Their ftp managing system is quite weird.

So the primary domain name is X
The second domain name is Y.
On the ftp, root is X and Y is folder. On the root (X) i have my vbseo htaccess.
Aaaaaand this is affecting my Y folder !!! ( second domain name ). Where, actually, i want to install wordpress and i get Internal server error...

You should be able to put a .htaccess in your Y folder with "RewriteEngine Off" in it to cancel out the .htaccess in the X folder.

Wordpress should have its own .htaccess, and that override the vBSEO one in the higher folder.

For the directories that do not need their own .htacess, disabling it as I described above should keep vBSEO's .htaccess from affecting those directories.
