How long to get indexed?

I started submitting my brand new forums using Sitemap generator and I have thousands of posts created by an RSS bot right now (just trying to get some headlines in there to show activity).

It's clear that Googlebot and Yahoo's bot have been to the site (see attached image) through my Sitemap Generator.

However, nothing is showing up in Google except for my main page, even when I do a site-specific search (example, go to site:delicto.com in Google).

I realize that I have no real traffic yet to speak of, but based on the activity of the bots, shouldn't some individual pages at least show up in the very depths of Google?

When the bots crawl your site, it will not automatically cause the pages crawled to be included in the index.

You should expect to see some pages begin to show up in a few days to a week however.

From there forward, the rate of indexing is variable. Some forums show steady incremental growth, while others have periods of slow growth followed by massive sudden indexing.

The variation was great for Tablet PC Questions and did not start taking off until the guide on this site was followed. Make sure you modify the templates, etc as suggested.

Just as an FYI, another week gone by with no indexing. I'll keep you posted on the progress of Delicto finance - we'll call it our "little experiment"

Well you see, we can't really detect how many pages are indexed in Google for our site. That's the only problem here... :(
