How do spiders Checks ur page?

I was wondering this. (might sound dumb) but i was wondering let's say you have a template showing about 2-3 pictures then the whatever article u put

comparing to a template that shows the articles THEn the pictures

which one would get keyword better?

I know i always read that putting content before any image (or too much unnecessary words) isn't good

and i also wonder do spiders checks the whole page or an amount of words at the top page?

Thanks for clearing this up i'm all mixed up

Spiders will review all content on most pages. I'm not quite sure if they impose any limitations on larger files, although it has been suggested before. I would most likely break a really large article up into several pages, and (of course) this happens naturally when thread pages.

I don't think there is any convincing data on how images are interpreted in terms of proximity to top of the document. I would tend to think that the SEs can clearly identify pictures that are significant on the page (i.e. not just a component of the template or an ad). Alt text, captioning, etc here could play more of a factor than if you display the image say before or after the first paragraph. The actual paragraph breaks, and which paragraph the image gets associated with could help get the image classified in Google image search for key terms within that paragraph.

I like having image size attributes specified also. In general, this is a good idea anyway, however the size of an image can also indicate its relative importance.

Link the image to something as well, if that makes sense within the context, even if just a anchored part of the same document. If an anchor, make the anchor *name* text relevant.
