How do I upgrade current sitemap?

I think I have sitemap 3.0 - If there is a recent version then I do not think I
have it since I installed what I have 2-3 months back.

So do I just overwrite the old sitemap with the new sitemap files,
then upload/overwrite the new xml file?

Hello, yes, 3.0 pl1 is released about a week ago. You should install that ASAP.

Full instructions are in the readme file in the docs folder, but yes, its basic FTP / import product.

how can I tell that it updated...after I did all that..it still shows v3.0

It is trying to load another .com for some reason. Make sure your vboptions for site url are correct, and make sure the 'sitemap files url' is blank.
you may also need to re-upload the xsl file if it failed during transfer.

There is no version upgrade (pl1) notice. it will still show 3.0.

As stated in the release announcement, version doesn't changes at all. If you imported the product file via Admin CP, then you are done

I mostly do not understand what you are asking.

Forum url is correct, but it does look like it is trying reach for the former url...
I updated the new url earlier today, and just checked again, it is correct.

I am not sure what this means...

is this talking about URLS on my forum?

How could I have gained 276 urls in just a few hours
from the last time that sitemap ran?

The CMS url is wrong.

Check your cms options.


It gained count because it errored out before and didn't compelte.

CMS is not installed, nor do i use CMS...

how about the error above on line 58.....?

You should un-check the CMS from being included in the sitemap then. the error may be related to that.

Include CMS has been turned off.

Error still showing.

Do you have anything in the addons block?

global_start is the hook at line 29 in global.php

make sure you've imported the product with over-write. Do it again just to be sure.

Nothing in addon block.

If you are talking about importing the xml, then the old was deleted before the new was imported.

I did import again with overwrite.

no change, error still there.

Please open a ticket with ftp/vb/vbseocp access so we can trouble shoot this further.
