    Yes

appears someone needs to revise the ultimate guide

Keeping things default corrected the issue, now to understand the settings more

Would you mind posting a screen cap of the default ranges? I'm having the same problem but fr some reason it won't revert back to the defaults for me. I added ranges like this: 0.2-0.4
I started with the numbers given in Briansols guide then just added .2 to each number to come up with the range. The problem is I don't know if this is correct. I'd prefer to use the VBSEO defaults if possible.

    Thanks.

You can uninstall the product in the admincp, and reimport it. It will give you the default settings again.

You can as Michael Biddle stated, uninstall and reinstall. I looked at an older SQL dump and searched for Priority Range

Here is the screen shot of defaults for Gold 3.x and VB 3.8.2

I have sg 2.5 with standard range settings installed and I still get the invalid value error at webmaster tools. We changed nothing within the last months but since yesterday we get this errors at google wt.

    Any tipps?

Our sitemap files have no priority values in tag entries AND no priority values in forum entries.

    Hello,

Be sure that you are running the latest files as well. Reupload the files and make sure you are set to overwrite.
