Google - Sitemap have the same priority

I was having this problem as well, but the above code fix by oleg solved the problem

i edited it and resubmit my sitemap again
but for directory i have the same problem
i have 2 sitemaps, they have 0.8 priority but one of them have warnings

What is the sitemap URL that has warnings reported?

i reported for my forum sitemap
i still see 1 warning on it now
this is the url:

i view site map 1 and i noticed that the priority change is yearly for threads!
is this right?
my site was showing in first and second google page for much keywords!
now its not showing
how can i solve this ? is it from site map only? or other problem?

confirmed. with the fix above, i'm still showing errors on 2/8 sitemap files

Same here, after the fix and resubmitting, the errors are gone. But a day or two later, warnings returned.

My sitemap is located on http://www.sat-television.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz

In total my sitemap has 502626 links in 21 sitemap files. sitemap number 4, 20 and 21 are ok. The others have warnings.

I seem to experience the same problem as anyone else. After the fix the sitemap is ok but becomes wrong the day after.. very strange.

yeah, it's on and off. today they are off.
yesterday they were on.

:shrug:

Is there any way we can fix this at the moment?
It seems to have a negative effect on the ammount of pages indexed by google.
Before the warnings I had 330.000 pages in the index.
Since the warnings it went down and down and down..
Yesterday 234.000, Today 216.000... Seems all my work goes down the drain :-(

Hi Danny - has your incoming traffic from search engines been reduced?

According to histats.com my site got an average of 10.000 daily unique visitors from google before the warnings. Now the average is around 7.000 a little more on busy days...
My guess is there's nothing much we can do to solve this.. Google says not all links in a sitemap can have the same priority so maybe it's a good idea to only apply priority settings for the latest threads/posts and leave the other's empty :-S
