that google viewed it??... (ie.. shows as vertified)
If I go to the google sitemap page and look at the status of the submission it shows submitted and downloaded. Before that it showed pending under the Download column.
They have your sitemap and therefore a list of all of your forum URLs. You should now be placed in their crawling queue. Keep us posted when you start to see Google begin to index more of your page.s
I only got the sitemap index file downloaded by google, now I manually added the rest of sitemap_1 to sitemap_7 files and they were all downloaded within 5 minutes, while the index file was downloaded 4 times but never grabbed the other sitemap files during the last days.
Also added sitemap.txt to Yahoo few minutes ago, but they already have 225,000 pages indexed.
This might be a stupid question but...what kind of wait should be expected before a deep crawl of all those URL's?

Nicke it isnt neccessary to submit the other sitemap_1 files Google will see these from the main index file which you submit. Reefland, by submitting your Sitemap to Google and Yahoo! it helps your pages get indexed much better overall and in particular allows Google to view the importance you place on certain URLs.
