First post- New to vBSEO

Hello everyone!

I wasn't sure which forum to ask this question in but since my question is somewhat Google related I figured this may be the right one.

I'm a new forum owner and I just purchased vBSEO yesterday. Although I know absolutely nothing about programming and coding, I've gotten pretty comfortable using vBulletin and vBadvanced but the short time I've spent fiddling with vBSeo has left me completely clueless and confused. I know I'm going to have to do some tweaks to vbulletin and vBSEO in order to maximize the SEO for my site. I also know I'm going to be visiting these forums quite frequently posting many questions but I'll start with my first three.

1- I did a google search for my site. It came up on the first page (which is good) but not the first rank which is ok. Now here's my question, this is what came up under google:

How can I go about changing the description from vbulletin to whatever I want?

2-What are some of the first few "tweaks" I should do in order to start seeing some results and start drawing more people to my site?

3- Is their a tutorial or a book or something I can use or purchase that may be a little easier for a newbee like me to understand that explains, teaches and/or walks you through everything that can possibly be done with vBseo?
