Error whilst running sitemap generator

Hi i had got this error whilst my generator was running....

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 59497018 bytes) in /home/myname/public_html/forum/vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap_functions.php on line 1298


What do i need to do to rectify this?

Ask your host to increase your max_memory

Can i not do this via htaccess or php.ini or maybe with a small php string? As i think ive come across it before where i was able to put in a small line of php to fix the issue or enable it inside my htaccess or php.ini.. or do you think its different?

I am sorry, I meant memory_limit before. That might be able to work. I would try it at 64MB.
