Error when trying to manually generate a sitemap

I just installed vBSEO so I was going through all the stickied threads tweaking things for optimum efficiency. I got to this thread and made the changes it told me to. In the vBSEO menu in the vBulletin admincp I changed the setting that asked if I had vBSEO installed because I didn't do so when I installed vBSEO at the same time I turned off include show post pages. I got all the way to the end, where I delete and regenerate the sitemap, but when I click run sitemap generator it delays for a long time like it's running then gives me this error. I checked the data directory and it only generated one small sitemap called sitemap_5.xml.gz and urllist.txt.gz. Please help

    Hello,

You should disable the txt (yahoo) version as well (as yahoo accepts xml now). If you're getting an error page, its likely that you're running out of memory. You may need to disable more sections in the options or increase your memory_limit setting in php.ini

Thanks for the tips. I disabled the txt version and increased the memory limit but it's still giving me the same error. By disable more sections you mean I may not be able to have all of them in the sitemap? That's no good, since all of them are relevant.

So I think I got it. I reduced the number of Max URLs from 20,000 to 10,000 and it went through. That should be fine, right?

[SECTION START] tags [5,488.2Kb mem used] [57,308s (+10,295s)]
[create sitemap file] filename: sitemap_5.xml.gz, number of urls: 10000 [5,492.6Kb mem used] [57,327s (+19s)]
[create sitemap file] filename: sitemap_6.xml.gz, number of urls: 10000 [5,493.0Kb mem used] [57,352s (+25s)]
[create sitemap file] filename: sitemap_7.xml.gz, number of urls: 10000 [5,493.6Kb mem used] [57,390s (+38s)]

Make sure it runs fully. As you can see, it picks up where it left off last. MAke sure all 1-8 run.

You might want to disable tags as well.
