    Error with Google sitemap

    I received the folloeing email with my Google sitemaps:

    "We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit."

    Has anyone seen this before?

    What is the sitemap URL you submit to google? It should be http://yourforumsroot/sitemap_index.xml.gz

    I did.

    http://yourforumsroot/sitemap_index.xml.gz only has the index page listed so I also submited

    http://yourforumsroot/sitemap_1.xml.gz

    google sitemap list them both as errors

    What exactly is the URL you submit?
