Duplicate descriptions & title tags

Hi
I'm looking at Duplicate descriptions & title tags on google sitemap
and I'm just wondering how much this will effect the seo of my site, I have over 1000 in each when looking at the google report

www.google.com/webmasters/tools/contentproblems

Does google see each .html#post number as duplicate content?

"#XXX" anchor is not a part of "URL" and these links are not indexed separately by Google. You should check details of the message to find which pages are reported.

Thanks for the links they helped a bit.
What would happen if i block showthread from sitemap and robots? Will everything in the sitemap get indexed as forum/category/thread.html even though they are rewrited from showthread? is this a good idea?

This is what i have now:

I'm not particularly liking the idea of putting a page number in the title or description.

Hello Steen,

make sure that you have "Include Old URLs" option disabled in sitemap settings.
Old URLs like showthread.php?p=X will be eventually removed from Google index since they are 301 redirected to new SEOed URLs, so it might be safer to wait some time without blocking them directly and allow "natural" transition.
