Is it bad for SEO to delete these threads? Do you recommend to keep them?
Well it is just removing links that are indexed. What is the reason for deleting them?

If they are delivering any traffic, then you might consider keeping them around unless they really need to be deleted for some other reason.
Note: Our LiveStats plugin might be a good way for you to quickly see how much traffic each of these pages are getting.

It's certainly better to have a distinct title. However, rather than delete them entirely, you should consider just editing the title to make them different from the others.
Note: Leave the one that is getting the most traffic unchanged, and edit the title in the others instead.
