Changing sitemap data folder name?

Since this is a 777 file, for security purposes is there a way to change it's name to something random?

It is possible but you may need to adjust many things.

As long as the data folder has the default vbseo htaccess file in it, the writable folder is safe. Nothing will be able to execute from it as a result of the htaccess file's rules.
