Can't download sitemap generator

Hi, I asked this question at the support desk, but haven't gotten any response and can't find any record of it anywhere, so I'm posting here. Please delete this if it's the wrong place.

I just purchased vbseo and I want to get the sitemap generator to go with it, but I don't have access to vbulletin.org to download it. I purchased my site from somebody on sitepoint, so I didn't orignally get the vbulletin license. I can't get ahold of the previous owner to get access either. Is there a way I can get the sitemap generator? I really want to get started on installing vbseo & sitemap at the same time.

No, I don't have a customer number to get an account, as I wasn't the one who originally purchased vbulletin. The previous owner has disappeared on me too...

You should post a claim on paypal and purchase a new license.

a purchased license STILL needs to go through vbulletin to fully transfer to you.

Odds are , your license is stolen.

I'd also do a paypal buy back and buy a legit license befor eyou have legal issues.

well, i'm pretty sure it's not stolen, i'm friends with the guy - just can't get ahold of him now. so what i need to do is have the vbulletin license transferred to me? otherwise i can't get the sitemap generator?

I'd like to run vbseo on it right now. Would it be a bad idea to do it now, and then wait till later to do the sitemap stuff?

you can run vbseo with out the sitemap for now. there won't be any ill effects of it.

So....I still haven't been able to get ahold of the owner....I really don't want to lose my pages indexed on google. I'm getting kind of worried about it, how long should I wait? And no, I'm not going to purchase a brand new vb license...that's money I don't have. I spent enough on vbseo, now I find out that there's another key component I need that is not available to me. What can I do here??

Your issue needs to be taken up with vbulletin themselves.

Thank you Very much! That's really all I needed. I didn't realize at first that the sitemap generator isn't made by vbseo and is a seperate download from vb.org. I'd been getting along fine without needing anything from vb.org since I got this site, till now. Thanks for helpin me out
