    Brand Free SEO 2

    It is rather unfortunate that you took it upon yourself to close my last thread since you obviously did not like what i was saying.

    FYI Your program DID Hijack my pages, whether you like that or not.

    And since this is obviously something which you have no intention of sorting or dealing with in a professional manner, I am passing this whole matter over to our attorneys to deal with, let's see if they agree with your conclusions and attitude in this matter.

    Furthermore, we will be instructing them to lodge objections to your patent intentions over this software, as you clearly do not like people asking you questions that you do not wish to answer. You lack transparency in your business endeavors which should be addressed and brought to the attention of the appropriate agencies before they grant you license to more or less do as you see fit, as you clearly believe that you can do what you want.

    I beg to differ, and I intend to clearly state my case and make my points.

    You really should have dealt with this in an entirely more professional manner.

    From what I've seen in my time here, the vBSEO Team as always handled questions, suggestions and criticism in a Very Professional matter.

    The team pointed out how to exclude pages from vbseo in the closed thread
    Also answered your question/suggestion about brand free.

    I use vba, gars and a dozen other paid scripts and vbseo works perfect.
    I also like to get the brandfree of most the script I use, and yet I am Very happy with vbseo on my site, I don't mind a link. I've actually made almost 1,000$ from that link

    You said something about your "pr7" site, that you don't want to give a link back. I believe there are 10 options for the copyright, and 1/2 don't involve a link back.

    I suggest opening a support ticket if you are really unhappy with the performance, The team will surely help you out in any way possible.

    Hope all goes well

    cheers
    -Brandon

    Why did you buy this program without first checking to see if there was a brand free option?

    I wish that everyone that threatened lawsuits over a forum got their internet privileges revoked for a year.

    I don't consider this to be any of your business, and maybe you should read what the rest of the post was about, it was about hijacking, by default, other add-ons that it has no right to interfere with.

    It's what's known as cheap ways to try and gain linkbacks.

    FYI, I've addressed this concern here:

    vBSEO will process all pages powered by the vBulletin engine (i.e. output is based on the vBulletin code/templates). This allows it to rewrite all vBulletin type URLs included in other pages (such as those generated by vBAdvanced).

    You may limit vBSEO to process only the *core* vBulletin dynamic pages (forumhome, forumdisplay and showthread) with the following code modification in vBSEO Global Hook:
    PHP Code:
    if(in_array(THIS_SCRIPT, array('index''forumdisplay''showthread')))
    if(@include_once((
    $GLOBALS['vbpath']?$GLOBALS['vbpath'].'/includes':dirname(__FILE__)).'/functions_vbseo.php'))

    $output make_crawlable($output);
    However, I wouldn't suggest doing this as you would end up with non-rewritten (and thus, inconsistent) URLs pointing back to your vB powered pages.
