Another sitemap question

I have installed the sitemap and can generate it no problems

If I click on: http://www.mysite.co.uk/forum/vbseo_sitemap/ i get a 404 error.

If I click on http://www.mysite.co.uk//forum/vbseo_sitemap/ it works

Putting the url in my google account

http://www.mydomain.co.uk/sitemap_index.xml.gz comes up with an error :(

I have windows server with isapi rewrite and the httpd.ini is correct as Oleg did it, it has to be something I have done wrong. I also have vBadanced installed and tried uncommenting the line in the relevant file.

If I click on: http://www.mysite.co.uk/forum/vbseo_sitemap/ i get a 404 error.

If I click on http://www.mysite.co.uk//forum/vbseo_sitemap/ it works

In case of IIS, you should use http://www.mysite.co.uk/forum/vbseo_sitemap/index.php URL

However i now get

The Sitemap must be located at mydomain.co.uk. To add a Sitemap at http://www.mydomain.co.uk/forum/, first add that site to your account and then, click the Add a Sitemap link beside it.

So do i have to add:

Can I offer some criticism to the staff / product arrangers

Please can you update the instructins that come with the product?

I will do an idiots guide if you would like for IIS as Oleg has taught me a lot in a few days.

The instructions you give out at the moment could be an awful lot better and would cut down on the simple questions I have asked as a none technical person. To me the instructions are too complex and do not favour IIS whatsoever.
