Am I set up correctly for Google?

When I go to google and type something in, my site does not show up. So Im wondering if Im set up correctly for google or other search engines? I read about adding my sitemap and read this.. :

After installing the Sitemap, the actual sitemap files will be located at /<forumroot>/vbseo_sitemap/data/.

in my forums root folder, I do not have that folder /vbseo_sitemap/data/.

can someone help me? my forums link is

What are your .htaccess rules?
