Am i far far gone to install VBSEO ?

Hey all,

Sorry been a while since i popped in, this is my latest project: vBulletin 4 Styles this was originally just a wordpress installation while awaiting vb4 to mature, anyways i got my site set up got some styles setup and of late my SERP's have taken a pounding and traffic is slowly dying off...

Anyways i was wondering if an expert in this area could let me know if i am too far advanced to purchase and install VBSEO without taking any more of a pounding in terms of search engine positioning.. ive noticed many vb4 sites with VBSEO installed doing really well, all the while my site drops further and further away.

I would really love to install VBSEO but i am unsure if this will kill my site completely or if in the foreseeable future that it may recover or even get better, i really don't know what effects this would have installing vbseo now.. i really really regret not waiting for vbseo.

Hey Darren,

You can install vBSEO at any time the only difference is that you will receive a small period of re-indexing. As long as you still populate your site with new content during the re-index you should have minimum problems, vBSEO redirects all of the old URL's to the new ones so your old visitors won't be getting 404's and so the SE will know straight away that the URL has changed and that they need to update their index.

Mix this will an installation of vBSEO Sitemap generator and you will also be submitting daily reports to the SE with the new URL's speeding up the crawling of your new URL's even more.

All in all it is your choice and I will be honest in saying you will have a short time dip in SERP's but you will reap the long time effects of having over 100+ SEO optimizations as well as all the other features and support that you will just receive from area's of our site like the critique forum and the support system.
