    Add whole site to sitemap

    Hi

    I have just recently added vbSEO and wanted to know what would be the best way to index my whole site.

    It holds stats on football/soccer for amateur footballers and the forum is just part of this.

    I have tried to search through the forum but not sure what I should be searching for.

    What software is the whole site? The sitemap will automatically include the entire forums.

    Apologies should have stated that.

    My main site runs on Expression Engine and Codeigniter with the forum as an extra part under /forum.

    Well, you can add URLs manually into the extra-urls.txt file included in the zip file. Other than that, I do not know what else to offer.

    You must use the vbseo sitemap for vbseo forums. You can use an EE sitemap for the rest of your site. Google supports multiple sitemap submissions per directory

    ie,

    EE => /
    vbseo => /forums

    Do I just do this by added two separate sitemaps or is there something specific I need to do.

    As my forums are under /forums do I need to change the htaccess file for the rewrite to access the vbseo sitemap as google isn't picking up the vbseo sitemap.

    vbseo ships with the sitemap url in the htaccess file already. It should be in your forums/ directory htaccess.

    In webmaster tools, yes, you would simply create 2 sitemaps... one for root, and one for /forums.
