I was not now.. stopped using COOP longtime ago.

Any specific reason why?
I got banned for couple of keywords on my main site, i removed COOP and within few days rankings were back again, this happend thrice after adding coop (this made me sure reason must have been COOP).
This gave an increase with yahoo referrals but google was hurting.

I can't see a reason why it is a violation of Google terms or why it would be punished. But I'll keep an eye on it.
I used the COOP at one time, not any more.
I also ended up changing domain names for a site that I previously had on the Network because I could not get anywhere with it in google.
I don't want to get involved in a big war about COOP here, but I will just say, check the PR of the COOP page. It used to be something like 6 or 7.
It helps with yahoo and MSN, but seemed to quit helping at all with google, and not long after it quit helping, it seemed to start hurting, and hurting badly. After almost a year of trying to get my site noticed again in the google rankings, I gave up and changed domain names.
I used it and it will never grace any of my sites again
Shawn has done a great job of managing the Coop. I don't use it anymore, but at one point I remember a lot of people complaining about it causing problems. Most people who complained had other potential issues though - as you would expect.
I stopped using it because the link quality seemed to be getting worse at a time when I needed to be increasing the quality of my outbound links. There seemed to be too many people with 100,000 page sites that dramatically reduced my link weight as well.
When I was using it and I did have decent weight, it helped a lot - especially with getting fresh information ranked quickly (news bits that wouldn't have a long lifespan).
@ Mike: did you also use the one from digital point?
Well so far no problems here, more pages get indexed and visitor stats increase.
