is VBseo even popular?

I was just curious, is VBseo even popular? does it even work?
I hear the hoop and hollar, but this place is seriously dead.

I'd say it's pretty popular. Currently about 10 million indexed pages that are powered by vBSEO:

There is a new skin being built as you can see in mentioned in the header.

vBSEO is certainly very popular, and certainly works a treat. Lots of success stories. Any vBulletin forum worth its salt should have vBSEO. If it didn't work and was no good, I would not support it. That simple.

Once you have vBSEO, then you need to make sure you are targeting the proper search phrases, and then make sure those are placed into your vBulletin templates in the correct places.

Google for "vBulletin" and see my Time2Dine thread about vBulletin SEO ranking in the top 10.

But yes, this place (and the software) is still very active, as are the developers.

It seems popular cause I found this site by searching with google.

Question is, do you remember what was the SERP location for that specific kw when you first found us? It is currently #11

Since we reverted our skin recently and removed various on-page optimization elements, knowing the previous location could help me determine the impact of these changes.

Why is this place dead?

A lot of passionate people are giving support for vBSEO here.

The site is not dead.... it's just that it works so well out of the box, that there aren't 1000 help posts a day 99% of the time, tech help for new installs is when the admin fails to read the readme instructions

is it popular? Who cares! In fact, i hope it DOESN'T get popular-- or at least that my competitors don't ever use it bad for business yes, but i'm not an employee, so i can say that. lol

is this owned or leased? I think its kinda pricy for a vbulletin addon,
but I guess i can see why also.

more so, if you monitize your site, it will pay for itself in a short amount of time.
