LinkMetro Question

I decided to participate in the LinkMetro program. One problem I have is that vbseo makes all links a nofollow.

I tried Oleg's suggestion of adding rel="novbseo" but I am unable to request link exchanges. Here is the error message i receive:

(Warnings issued while checking for a link: The link was found, but the <A tag had the nofollow option enabled.)

Is there anyway to bypass this? thanks

how do you insert their code? (is there an example URL at your site to check?)

I used this format:

<a href="website.com" "rel="novbseo" target="_blank">site description</a> - site description <br>

You have an extra quote character, the link should be like:

<a rel="novbseo" href="website.com" target="_blank">site description</a> - site description <br>

Also (forgot to mention), you should manually enable this option in config_vbseo.php file:

    define('VBSEO_ALLOW_REL_NOVBSEO',   1); 


This is weird.. I tried following your instructions Oleg but linkmetro still gives me the same error message.

Which URL do you provide them for testing? (so that I can check the resulting link)

Please move rel="novbseo" to the left of href attribute:
<a rel="novbseo" href="website.com" target="_blank">site description</a> - site description <br>

I also use linkmetro, but im not up-to-date on the tips, tricks, about SEO and the lingo you are using is over my head.

can you explain this so that I can understand what you did and why you did it, maybe this is something that will help me as well.
