Google links

Could someone please give me a explaination regarding Google links (Indexed pages / backlinks).

I have been working hard on link building. Managed to go from 500 or so listed links in Yahoo, to over 33,000 in 2 months. same with MSN, up to 3,500 listings / links, from 5 or 10.

However, with google, I can type Talkvbulletin.com into the search, and see 500 or so indexed pages, but using link:Talk vBulletin - Your vBulletin Webmaster Community I get nothing.

I have solid text links on PR6 sites, thousands of links on PR3 and 4, and even more on PR0 sites.

From what I hear, google is updrating right now, but I have seen no change.

How can I get more pages of my site indexed, or is this just a matter of waiting. I use vbseo, and the Google / Yahoo sitemap generator.

BTW, the site / domain are not new. Been registered for over a year. (Links in this post are not shoing correctly because of VB pulling the page description)

Totally a matter of waiting, from my experience. Also, make sure your backlinks are relevant to the content of your site. That seems help.
