It would appear this error happens if you missed something on the form and have to re-enter it. I had that happen last night, and I couldn't get past that error message. Today I tried again and forgot my keywords exceeded 300 and got the error again. Closing my browser and reopening headed back to the site and this time entered everything correctly the first time and it took.

Just thought you would want to know so you could fix your form or for anyone else who gets the error.

I increased the # characters in meta description and keywords to 500 to reduce problem. Not sure what else can be done.

Hey there - Did you submit these sites? If not please do and I'll watch for em and approve when they come through. And yes 'other' is correct cat for the one.

I just tried submitting the first site on that list ^ and it keeps telling me the reciprocal link isn't there....when it IS there. I've moved it from the forums to the homepage, to the footer, to below the footer...nothing is working. Let me know if the submissions went through...and if it's just pending the reciprocal...if it's pending, well...I would think you should accept it since I do have the reciprocal link up.

Hi J - Sorry but that link didn't get into pending status. Please resubmit with just the free selection and not the recip one so you don't run into any more trouble. The recip checker is very sensitive and causes problems for many directories.

I'll upgrade it to a featured listing since you were kind enough to place my link on your homepage! Thanks!

The only other option is the featured link. I'm not sure if there's a little "hiccup" in the coding by mistake or what, so I just wanted to point it out. Seems like no one else is having any problems though...so IDK.
