Yahoo Directory

I am considering paying for inclusion into the Yahoo Directory.

What in your opinions is the worth of this link? I read a lot about it being the grail of all links. Do you actually get a lot of traffic from the link or is the only worth in other bots following the link to my site and maybe page rank.

Some people think paid inclusion in smaller directories (less expensive) would be "as" or "more" effective.

I am thinking about it as well. I have submitted to both DMOZ and Yahoo over a year ago and they have no approved me.

Which really pisses me considering some of the sites that they currently have in there, especially the dmoz, or worthless junk that carry very little knowledge for my subject, Ford Mustangs.

Yet they continue to say how each submission is approved based on how much value it is going to bring to people.

I basically can somehow try to defend DMOZ based on having valuable content. That may be the case for a limited amount of subjects but not the case in mine. They do not care to take the time to look into it taking the "We are better than everyone else and we do not have to listen to you attitude."

With all that said... when I feel comfortable payin 299 dollars which is what I believe it costs then I probably will pay it. Right now there are other areas I need to pay attention to and spend my time and money on.

I bought my way in at the beginning of this month.

I cant tell you really if it is helping because I got in during the recovery from jagger and just a week after installing vBSEO.

I will say the combination has resulted in some good rankings on google, msn, and yahoo. I figure by the time I get fully indexed with vbseo pages in google, I will have the most popular website on the net.

for Yahoo Directory you have to pay if u need to get listed there very quick i have submit one of our site there it take like 5 manth and they dont approve it .. after Paid it take like 2-4 day



Dmoz if u have a good luck

I have submit our site back in 2000 till today it is not listed there
