Vbulletin Meta keywords

Hi

I noticed VB has Meta keywords here is my default "vbulletin,jelsoft,forum,bbs,discussion,bullet in board"

I added games,multiplayer,australian to the same box? is this something I should do and should I add more?, I dont really know much about META stuff.

I allso have default meta description "This is a discussion forum powered by vBulletin. To find out about vBulletin, go to vBulletin - Instant Community ." what should I add here?

I have the branding free version of Vbulletin should I remove any keywords relating to them, or will that hurt my evantual ranking.

Yes - definitely remove the vBulletin keywords and replace them with a list of keywords relevant to your forum topic.

The description part should include a brief description of your forum, that also includes some of your keywords within the sentence. Note: It must still read well for humans and make sense. Don't just pad a nonsense phrase with keywords.

Meta keywords are no longer as important as they were in the distant search engine past. However, the description can be pulled out for use a a snippet for a search result in Google.

Branding removal from vBulletin allows you to remove their copyright from the bottom. However, you are allowed to remove any other references to vBulletin in the settings, even without purchasing the branding removal option.

If you haven't removed, the "Powered by vBulletin" part from the title, you want to get rid of that as well:

Is it good to add longer description or shorter?

A few *normal* length sentences. Just don't overload them.
