VBSEO and my Database

It's a stupid question, but I'm just a graphic designer so I'm oblivious when it come to these things.

Was wondering if VBSEO somehow shrinks your database because my database went from 101mbs to 18.9MBs when backing it up these days.

Any ideas?

Nope.... doesn't touch the db, at least not in that way. Perhaps you are compressing the db backup now instead of an uncompressed backup?

That seems like quite a large drop...Did you maybe move the image/attachements/avatar/css/smilies out of the DB and to the filesystem recently?

Check your backup if your able to restore from it proper. Maybe your backup went wrong.

I did recently switch the attachments and avatars to a filesystem.
