Unhappy VBseo cpanel integration!?!?!? and error?

Okay i remember sombody install vbseo for me.. whichs was the 3.5.0 and i could of swore that.. when i log into vbulletin 4 control panel there would be a box on the left that says "Vbseo" and when i click on it.. it would go to the password screen.. ..

but i had another guy install vbseo 3.6.0 gold on my vbulletin 4 and he told me to follow

    www.ursitename.com/vbseocp.php

^^ And he said thats the only way to access vbseo and he told me this version does not support the cpanel integration..

Is that true? or is there somthing he didnt install correctly?

And also.. what does this mean.. when its on the top:

Your config.xml is writable. Don't forget to update permissions after you finish updating the configuration for security purposes.

^ is that normal?? that i dont have to do anything??

vbseocp.php IS the link, but it should also have a left nav.

Make sure he uploaded a LEGIT copy of vbseo. It sounds like you were probably ripped off.

We do have upgrade services performed by our in house techs for just $27, and you know it will be done right, not left wide open to hackers and incomplete like this guy left your site.

Your config.xml file should be chmodded correctly so it is not writable when you are done with settings. 644 on most systems, some require 444.
