    Yes, hostgator does do this, but they gave us notice before they shut us down and they gave us the option of fixing the problem before shutting down.

    My only problems, as mentioned before, only occurred when we had to move or delete thousands of thread at a time. This is definitely a big no-no if using vbseo and on hostgator.

    FYI, we didn't need the threads in questions, so that is why they were deleted.

    The solution was simple --- disable vbseo -- until we migrate to a 'better' hosting provider that allows vbseo to operate without problems.

    I would have to recommend that you migrate asap. Shutting down vBSEO is a really bad option, as it will revert to your default URL format.

    Lol! I know what happens. We've shut down vbSEO for a few months now, but will resume once we are able to migrate.

    I know we lost the vbSEO advantage as I've tried similar hacks that each do a single part of vbSEO, but they are not up to the quality of vbSEO due to coding errors.

    We'll regain the vbSEO soon enough.
