vBSEO 3.1 or 3.2 for vBulletin 3.6.8?

I am on vBulletin 3.6.8 and I have no plan to upgrade vBulletin to 3.7.x.

I read some threads, and it would appear to me if I run vBulletin 3.6.8 there is no need to go for vBSEO 3.2 because the new features won't apply to vBulletin 3.6.8 anyway.

While 3.2 offers re-writes of the new content areas offered in vb3.7, it also includes many many bug fixes over the 3.1 series.

I'd suggest trying 3.1. If you run into problems, upgrade is probably the first line of action.

So sounds like I should still go for 3.2, even just for the bug fixes.

I have already uploaded 3.1 files to my server but I haven't installed it. Should I remove all the 3.1 files or simply overwrite them with 3.2 files and install it?

You can simply overwrite old files.
