    VB CMS Rewrite Settings

Right now, my links are displaying as follows:
    content/section/family-law.html
    content/section/child-support.html
    content/section/laws-state.html
    content/311-alaska.html

    A few questions:
    1. How do I set it up so it shows up as /section/family-law/child-support/laws-state/alaska.html
    2. Is it possible/advised to remove the /content/ from showing up first? Why/why not?
    3. Is it possible to remove the page/section ID's? Why/why not?
    4. Is it recommended to use or not use .html at the end of every url?

    Any other recommendations?

Sections are not currently available for heirarchy. That is a planned upgrade in a future version of vbseo.

content must be there, or another key word, so that it doesn't try to load a forumdisplay url running at /xxxx/. Similiarly, you can't make a forum called content with out it conflicting.

IDs are not required for sections, so long as they are unique. (just like forumdisplay)
ID's are required for actual articles (just like showthread)

I believe a staff on here recommended not to change url structure. So if I do it now without the hierarchy, I am pretty much screwed in trying to change it later on? Can I hire someone from vbseo to custom add this function on for me now?

I don't see any conflict in not having "content" there because I have all my forum posts using the categories. The only conflict would be if a section name had the same name as a forum?

Also I had tried not having ID's for the actual articles (Cms entry) and I believe it worked fine?

Also Is it recommended to use or not use .html at the end of every url?

Sorry, we do not sub out for custom work. You can always hire your own coder if you wish. You are of course welcome to try anything, but note that it very well may break something on some browsers/etc. I just highly suggest testing everything with multiple clients.

.html is not needed at all and it is up to you to use it or not. I personally don't, and use / instead.
