twitter upate automatically from vBulletin

Guys,
Does anyone know how I can set up my forum to post new threads to my twitter account automatically?
I found this mod at vB but my site is on php4 not php5 so its useless, there is got to be another way.

You should seriously consider upgrading to php 5 and mysql 5.x series.

I will have to do that soon or late but I prefer late than soon Anyway, I found a way of doing this at this twitter to vBulletin tutorial . No need to upgrade again for a long time!

You will get way better perfonmance with Php 5 and Mysql 5

I know but I do not own my server, the silly hosting company I am with said the server will be down for 24-48 hours if they do the upgrade... I don't want that so I will just move to a new server with PHP5 when I am ready.
